11. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

 
California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

In the last 12 months, Deal Bit Daily has not directly collected geolocation data from our users. We do not use GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular data to determine user location, nor do we store such data on our servers. However, we disclose certain derivative data that may infer approximate geolocation to third-party services as part of our operations. Specifically: Amazon Associates: Our affiliate links allow Amazon to collect IP addresses when users click and browse, which may be used to infer approximate location (e.g., city or region) for purposes like regional pricing, tax calculations, or fraud prevention. WP Social Ninja: Our social sharing plugin posts deals to X and Pinterest, where these platforms may collect IP addresses (potentially inferring geolocation) to track user interactions with shared links. We do not have access to or control over the geolocation data collected by these third parties.   • Category H – Sensory data includes audio, visual, thermal, electronic, or olfactory recordings/data, such as recordings of conversations, photographs, videos, temperature readings, or sensor data from wearable devices. In the last 12 months, Deal Bit Daily has not collected or disclosed any sensory data from our users. Our website operates as an affiliate marketing platform with no features to record audio, capture visual content, use thermal cameras, collect electronic sensor data, or detect olfactory information. Any sensory data (e.g., visual data from product views or audio from Alexa purchases) is collected directly by third parties such as Amazon, X, or Pinterest when users interact with their platforms after clicking our affiliate links or social shares. We do not have access to or control over this data. Request Verification

California “Shine The Light” Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
